Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose GF flour
- 1/2 tsp xanthum gum (leave out if already in flour)
- 4 tsp GF baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 3/4 cups DF milk. 2 cups if using protein powder
Instructions
- Large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and oil together.
- Add flour (via spoon and level method) and xanthum gum (if using), baking powder, and salt to egg mixture until fully combined. OPTIONAL: Add 1 scoop protein powder.
- Stir in milk and mix until smooth.
- Pour batter in preheated/greased waffle machine.
- Cook according to waffle machine instructions or until golden brown.
- Top with favorite garnishes (syrup, PB, butter, berries, etc).
